Mark Pinson Grant for Graduate Research on the Ottoman Balkans
The Institute of Turkish Studies (ITS) is pleased to announce its 2017-2018 grant competition in the field of Turkish Studies. The following grant opportunities are available only for United States citizens (or those who have acquired permanent resident status in the U.S.) who are currently affiliated with a university in the U.S. Mark Pinson Grant for Graduate Research on the Ottoman Balkans: ITS invites grant applications from graduate students enrolled in doctoral programs in the United States, whose research is specifically focused on the Ottoman Balkans. The Mark Pinson Grant provides up to $2000 per applicant, seeking to broaden existing knowledge and research on any aspect of the Ottoman Balkans, within the social sciences and/or humanities.
